Spring Capsule Wardrobe 2017

With the arrival of spring comes a refresh of my capsule wardrobe.  Not sure what a capsule wardrobe is?  Check out this post for more information on what they are and how to make them! This time around I have included 32 pieces, some of which I may decide to switch out as needed - especially as I'm spending half of the season in Calgary, Alberta and half in Toronto, Ontario... both in Canada, but pretty different as far as the weather goes!

As you can see, I like black.  And white.  And don't really wear colour.  That's my preference, but you DEFINITELY don't have to wear only neutrals to make use of a capsule wardrobe!  I've seen a tonne of colourful project 333s and capsules - so you do you!  I actually made a video on the topic of colourless wardrobes which you can watch here if you're interested :)

Getting Started With Zero Waste (Easy Swaps)

Let's start on this zero waste journey together!

I'm a total newbie when it comes to zero waste living, but I've made a number of swaps that are making a big difference in the amount of trash I create every single day.  I thought I'd share them with you and open myself up to suggestions on how to take my zero waste transition to the next level!

Some of the easy swaps we'll cover are ditching plastics bags for reusable tote bags, using dish towels instead of paper towels, and switching from plastic toothbrushes to biodegradable bamboo ones!

Eating a vegan diet has a huge positive impact on the planet, but it's not enough when you consider the state of our environment.  Especially when so many people don't bother to do anything at all!

Together we can slow the destruction of our planet and maybe, just maybe, save it!
